Fulcourt Press is an independent publisher for work that helps us understand what moves us.

We are interested in the values we hold, the motives beneath our choices, the stories through which we understand ourselves, and the meanings that give a life direction. Our work is grounded in thymology: the study of human purpose, judgment, aspiration, and lived experience. It is a field of attention to the inner life—not as something separate from the world, but as the source from which our relationships, work, culture, and decisions take shape.
